The Cure on Wheels Ride took place on Saturday, November 2, 2012. ARCS Foundation Tampa Bay Team raised over $4300. The money will be used for the first year payment of $5000 for the Cure on Wheels Named Scholar Award. Contributions to the Team are still being accepted. ARCS Foundation in Florida launched in 2010 and is committed to enriching the quality of life in Florida by attracting scholars in STEM programs. We are currently providing scholar awards to outstanding students completing Ph.D. degrees at the University of South Florida, in both Cancer Biology at Moffitt Cancer Center and the College of Marine Science. As we grow the Foundation in Florida, we will expand our scholar awards programs to other graduate level STEM programs at Florida universities.
